My Passion
ABOUT ME
I am a full-time Collaborative Education major at Birmingham Southern College. I also work part time at a preschool as the playground/activities coordinator. I graduated from Crossroads Christian school. My entire life I have been fascinated with teaching and kids have always played a tremendous role in my life. Starting with holding babies at church, to babysitting and nannying, to getting a job as a k4 teacher. Children bring so much joy and sunshine into the world and I am so excited to work towards being apart of that.
R E F L E C T I O N
I decided to include this artifact in my electronic portfolio because I believe it gives viewers a good understanding of who I am. In this very personal poem, I reveal exactly where I am from and why I am the way I am. I learned a lot about myself while writing this. I had to dig into my childhood as well as my ancestors. I was reminded that I come from a line of strong and gentle women and men, this pushed me to be true to myself. I really enjoyed writing my poem and hope that you enjoy reading it!
